Planting and Growing Tips:
Great for adding vertical interest to gardens, this easy to grow variety does well in dappled sunlight with moist — not wet — well drained soil. Sow indoors 8- to 10-weeks before the last frost date of spring or direct sow outdoors — just below the surface — in prepared beds after temperatures have warmed. Space seedlings 18- to 24-inches apart and mulch around plants to conserve moisture and prevent weeds.

Pinch off spent blossoms on a regular basis to extend the blooming period. Plants should be cut to the ground in late fall once flowers have faded. Leave a few spikes if you want them to reseed.

Caution: All parts of this plant are considered poisonous if ingested.
