In a moist, dark environment Beneficial Nematodes (Steinernema feltiae) kill almost all pests. Therefore, they are ideally suited to combat insects in and on the soil and those that bore into wood, trees and shrubs.

These microscopic, worm-like parasites actively hunt, penetrate and destroy over 230 different pests including fleas, fungus gnats, black vine weevils and white grubs. Naturally occurring, they are not harmful to people, pets, plants or earthworms and will continue working for 18 months.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Scanmask® comes premixed with vermiculite which is used as a carrier. They should be released as soon as possible. Do not release during the sunny part of the day, but rather wait until evening. If immediate release is inconvenient, you may refrigerate at 38˚F to retain full potency for several months. DO NOT FREEZE.

Apply anytime grubs and larvae are feeding on plant roots, and when soil temperatures are above 32˚F. To apply, simply spread by hand over infested area and water. Killing action begins 24 hours after application.
