Each packet contains approximately 25-30 seeds.
Planting and Harvesting Tips:
Plants do best in full sun and require ample amounts of water and rich organic soil to thrive. In short-season climates, start indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost date. Move seedlings outside when all danger of frost has passed, and soil temperatures have warmed. Space 3-4 feet apart in traditional garden rows. A light mulch will help retain soil moisture.
Harvest summer varieties when small and tender for best quality, usually 6 to 8 inches long. Winter varieties should be harvested when the rind is tough and dark in color. Use a sharp pruning knife to cut the fruit, and at least 2-3 inches of the stem, from the vine. Discard any fruit that is bruised or rotten.
