An old-fashioned heirloom flower! Persian Carpet Zinnia (Zinnia haageana) yields showy bi-colored single and double blossoms in mahogany-red, orange and gold. Hardy plants grow 12- to 16-inches tall and spread rapidly — with little attention — in sunny garden spots. Perfect for xeric (water conserving) gardens, beds, borders or pots. (Annual) Learn How to Grow Zinnias here.

Each packet contains approximately 250 seeds.

Planting and Growing Tips:
These warm season flowers prefer full sun and rich, well-drained soil. Start indoors under lights 3- to 4-weeks before the last frost date of spring. In warmer climates, sow directly into prepared gardens and cover with 1/4 inch of soil. Water thoroughly and thin seedlings 6- to 12-inches apart.

Once established, plants are easy to grow and require little attention. Remove spent blossoms to extend the flowering season and mulch to prevent weeds, conserve moisture and improve aesthetics.
