Planting and Growing Tips:
Easy to grow plants thrive in cool, moist locations with full sun to light shade and average soils. If growing from seed, germination success is greatly improved by a 1-week cold treatment (see Seed Stratification). Place seeds and damp paper towels in a Ziploc bag and store in the refrigerator. Direct sow in prepared garden beds and water well. Pinch-off spent blooms to prolong the flowering period.
For a spectacular effect, mass flowers in borders or scatter them throughout the garden.
