Treats up to 2,000 gallons. Clear-Water Barley Straw Pond Treatment improves water quality by reducing pond algae, other particles and odors. Easy to use, just float the bales on the water surface. As the straw decomposes, it releases materials which control algae populations.

Note: This product will NOT kill existing algae, but prevents new growth from occurring. As the existing algae naturally dies off, and new growth is inhibited, water clarity is restored. Will NOT harm fish, wildlife or plants.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Each wrapped bale includes a cork float and treats up to 1,000 gallons (2,000 gallons total).

Step 1: Calculate approximate water content.

Step 2: Determine how many bales are required.

Step 3: Place on the water surface, preferably near waterfall or filter outlet.

Step 4: Replace after six months of use.
