Dr. Earth Bat Guano

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Vegetables, Annuals, Perennials & Bedding Plants

New Plantings: During bed preparation, mix in with your soil amendment, 1/4 cup Bat Guano per 10 square feet, or 1-1/4 cup for every 50 feet of planting row. Till the soil to a depth of 4 to 8 inches and water well.

Established Plants: Side dress anytime during the growing season. Use 1/4 cup for every 10 square feet of growing area or 1-1/4 cups for every 50 lineal feet of row. Work into the soil gently and water well.

Potted Plants

New Plantings: When potting plants, mix 1 tablespoon Bat Guano per gallon of potting soil, or add 1/4 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approx. 5 gallons) of potting soil. Mix the soil and Bat Guano thoroughly. Water well.

Established Plants: Sprinkle 1 tablespoon for a 6″ container, or 4 tablespoons for a 12″ container. Scratch into the soil gently, and cover with a thin layer of organic mulch when possible. Water thoroughly.

Trees & Shrubs

New Plantings: Before you plant, add 1/4 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approx. 5 gallons) of soil that will be added to the planting hole. Once planting is completed, water thoroughly.

Established Plants: Use 1/4 cup for every inch of trunk diameter (measured at 4″- 6″ above the soil line). Work into the soil gently, use inside of the drip line. Water thoroughly. Apply every 2 months throughout the growing season.

Fertilizer Tea, Foliar Feeding and Deep Root Feeding

For a rich liquid mixture, use 1 cup Bat Guano for every 5 gallons of water. Let the solution set for 24 hours. Strain well and mulch all the solids around the root zone. The liquid portion (tea) can be applied at 1 to 2 cups per plant, or 2 to 4 cups for larger plants. Use full strength to foliar feed and deep root feeding of all plants.
