Planting and Growing Tips:
Easy to grow plants thrive in full sun — will tolerate some shade — and average to rich well-drained soil. Sow indoors on the soil surface 8- to 10-weeks prior to last frost. Prior to transplanting outside, pinch off the top 1-inch to encourage good branching and compact growth. Space seedlings 12- to 18-inches apart in all directions and pinch off the spent blooms to extend the flowering season.
Seeds can be saved if you’re interested, but the flowers won’t always come true to type. They usually revert to a mix of small white, lavender and rose flowers.
