Here are our best tips on How to Grow Carrots, too!
Each packet contains approximately 250 seeds.
Planting and Harvesting Tips:
Crops may be sown throughout spring and summer months at 2 to 3 week intervals, until about 1 month before first frost in fall. Sow thickly in rows 1 foot apart or broadcast in 1 to 1-1/2 inch wide raised beds. When tops are 1 to 2 inches tall thin plants to 2 inches apart.
Harvest at finger size for best texture and flavor. Watering prior to harvest makes pulling easier. Extend storage life by cutting off all but 1 inch of the leaves and stem. Do NOT store near apples or pears. These fruits produce a gas that will cause them to become bitter.
