Worm Castings
A useful additive to any garden! Worm Castings (1-2-0.7) are the rich digested organic soil that redworms leave behind. Gardeners know them to be the most nutrient dense organic compost available. In soil, they retain water and release nutrients in a form that is easily used by plants. They are excellent soil builders and can also be used as an additive to you own favorite potting mix. The pH is neutral and therefore suitable for most types of plants form azaleas to orchids. Contains plant growth hormones, too!
Directions for Use: Gardens: Apply 5-10 pounds per 100 sq. ft. and work into the soil.
Top Dressing: Simply spread a layer (about 1/2 inch deep) around your favorite plants. Mulch and water.
Potting Mix: Add one part with two parts organic compost, and 3/4 part vermiculite, perlite or coconut coir. Mix 1 tablespoon all-purpose fertilizer per gallon of soil.
Shrubs & Trees: In late spring, mulch around plants with a 1-4 inch thick layer.
