DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
To build a compost pile approximately 1 cubic yard (3' x 3' x 3') in size, start by designating an area approximately 5' x 5' in size.

Place thick coarse carbon "brown" materials (straw, leaves, sawdust, newspaper, etc.) on the bottom (approximately 6 to 8" thick). This will help to facilitate air circulation and water drainage.

Then add nitrogen "green" materials (grass clippings, vegetable scraps, garden waste, etc) on top of the brown layer approximately 3 to 4" per layer.

Apply Dr. Earth® Premium Compost Starter in a thin layer (approximately 1/2 to 1 cup) on top of the green layer. Alternate layers back and forth, wet on dry, green on brown and Dr. Earth® in between until the pile is complete.

Ingredients: Alfalfa meal, seaweed extract and beneficial soil microbes.
