 For Ponds Containing Live Plants & Fish. The pond owner's number one problem is green water caused by single-cell algae, blanketweed and string algae. Previously, all algaecides were non-selective and killed or damaged all plants in the pond along with the algae.
PondCare® AlgaeFix is an effective, EPA registered selective algae-control product that solves algae problems. Because of its unique formula, AlgaeFix can be used in ponds with live fish, plants, frogs and snails.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Add 1 teaspoon for every 50 gallons of water. Thoroughly mix by adding near the pump outflow, waterfall or aeration device. May also be mixed in a bucket of water and evenly distributed around the pond/ fountain. Repeat dose every three days until algae is controlled.
Once algae growth is under control, add one dose every 5 days. Weekly doses will control algal growth and reduce maintenance. Do NOT use with crustaceans, including; crabs, shrimp, freshwater shrimp and freshwater lobsters.
WARM WEATHER CAUTION: Before using, make certain that the pond has vigorous aeration - i.e., a fountain, waterfall or aeration device to avoid fish loss due to low oxygen levels. Do not shut pond pumps and aeration devices off at night.
