It’s almost like having another grow light! A moving fixture will distribute light more evenly over your plants and improves light distribution. It also eliminates shading and allows more even growth and development. The Hydrofarm Light Track moves your grow light back and forth along its length, simulating the effect of the sun moving across the sky. It takes about 20 minutes to travel 6 feet.

Silent, lifetime lubricated motor. Pre-wired with 9 foot power cord. Includes hanging hardware and instructions. Tracks require an additional foot on each end for fixture clearance.

Grower’s Tip:
Moving your grow light from one end of the garden to the other provides plants with a greater variety of light angles. This allows more light to reach the bottom of the plant, which is often shaded by the upper portion of the plant. Since more of the plant can take part in the process of photosynthesis, lower operating costs result from increased yields.
