Garden Dust (Dipel)

Safer® Garden Dust is a highly selective biological pesticide containing Dipel® (Bacillus thuringiensis) to control leaf-eating caterpillars and worms. After ingesting a treated portion of the leaf, caterpillars stop feeding within a few hours. Death occurs in a few days. Will not harm beneficial insects or honey bees. Safe to use around children and pets. OMRI Listed for use in organic production.

Directions for Use:
Apply to foliage of listed crops at a rate of 2 to 3 ounces per 50 feet of row plantings.

Apply when pests are first noticed and repeat every 7 days to 10 days or as necessary. Caterpillar egg hatch can occur over an extended time period. Monitor treated areas for the presence of newly hatched pests and retreat if necessary. Thorough leaf coverage is necessary for effective control.

Note: Apply in late afternoon or on cloudy days since Bt breaks down in sunlight.
