GroChek pH/TDS Meter

The GroChek pH/TDS Meter features separate displays for continuous readout of both pH and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). The instrument uses a 12 volt power source from the mains using a 12 volt transformer which is included in the price of the instrument. Comes equipped with a grounding bar which ensures longer electrode life and more accurate pH measurements.

Supplied with both the pH electrode and the TDS probe the meter also has an earthing pin to ensure that readings are correct and not affected by a lack of earth within a plastic or other form of insulated tank environment. The meter can be calibrated at one or two points in the pH range (pH 4 and 7) and at one point in the TDS range.

In order to help meet the specific nutritive requirements of different types of crops, the alarm setpoints are operator selectable in both the pH and TDS ranges. When the pH and/or TDS value of the solution is outside the preset range, the corresponding red LED alarm comes on. This feature makes it easy to optimize the effectiveness of the nutrient solutions used for plants and flowers.

The pH electrode is replaceable and the BNC connector is protected behind a waterproof sheath when connected to the meter. TDS readings are performed using the conversion factor of 0.7 to give direct readout in mg/L (ppm), thus removing the need to convert the readings.
