(Asclepias tuberosa) Covered with beautiful, bright orange flowers from mid-summer until early in the fall. Butterfly Milkweed blooms reliably from seed the first year if sown early enough. Plants will reach 2-3' tall in dry sandy soil and in well-drained loams. Hardy to zone 4. (Perennial)
