Salmon-pink flowers top all zinnias for beauty in the garden. Large, mostly double blooms are superb for cut flower use. (Annual, 24-36″ tall)
Start seeds indoors 3 to 4 weeks before setting out after frost; or sow seeds in place outdoors at about the last frost in spring. In either case, sow in fine, moist soil and cover lightly. Germination is accelerated by warm temperatures. If kept moist, seedlings will appear within a few days.
Final position in the garden should be in full sun. Allow about 1 foot from one plant to its neighbor, as these are big plants. Thrives in summer heat. Picking spent blooms prolongs bloom season.
