One of our favorite heirlooms! Large, 1-pound creamy white fruits are so good and deliciously juicy. Great White reminds us of a mixture of fresh-cut pineapple, melon and guava. This tomato is smoother than most large beefsteak types and yields can be very high. (80-85 days)
Each packet contains approximately 25 seeds.
Start seed indoors 4 to 8 weeks prior to the last frost of spring. Seeds are covered only slightly to allow light which sometimes assists germination. Keep the soil evenly moist. Seed trays are held in warm conditions until sprouts appear, which may take anywhere from 3 to 10 days, depending on temperature, moisture, etc.
Move seedlings immediately to bright light conditions, such as a south-facing window or under a grow light. After the last frost, transplant them into the garden and space 2 to 3 feet apart.
