Planting and Harvesting Tips:
These cool weather vegetables do best planted in early spring or late summer. Sow no deeper than 1/4 inch in rich, well-drained soil. Full sun to light afternoon shade is recommended. Space plants 6 to 12 inches apart in rows 18 to 24 inches apart.
Leaves, flowers and stems are all edible. To harvest, pinch or cut leaves just above the soil surface and allow to grow back. Continue harvesting until plants lose flavor. Young plants provide the sweetest, best tasting leaves and stems.
