These oblong, bright red onions are great for planting spring or fall. Seems to do well in many areas. They are very mild and sweet, great for salads and pickling! A delicious Italian heirloom onion. Very rare. Long-day type. (100 days from transplant)
Each packet contains approximately 300 seeds.
Start seeds indoors 10 to 12 weeks before the last frost date of spring. Surface-sow or barely cover the seeds. Keep seed trays at room temperature and do not allow to dry out. Transplant seedlings after last frost date, spacing them 4 to 6 inches apart.
