Don’t treat your soil like dirt! FoxFarm Planting Mix has everything you need to get your garden off to a good start: earthworm castings, bat guano, Norwegian kelp meal, composted forest humus, sphagnum peat moss and more. Specifically designed to help hold moisture in the soil, which keeps plants hydrated and growing well.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
New Gardens – When preparing new garden areas, till a 3-6″ layer of Planting Mix to a minimum depth of 8-12″. Water thoroughly after planting.
Established Gardens – Topdress a 3″ layer around existing plants and carefully work into the soil.
Raised Beds – Prepare garden beds by amending existing soil with composted organic matter. Fill the top 8-12″ of bed with FoxFarm Original Planting Mix.
Ingredients: Composted forest humus, sphagnum peat moss, earthworm castings, sandy loam, fossilized bat guano, granite dust, Norwegian kelp meal, dolomite lime and oyster shell (for pH adjustment).
Grower’s Tip:
Use to revive old lawns. First, aerate the area then spread a thin layer of both organic lawn fertilizer and FoxFarm® Planting Mix over the grass. Work in with a rake and water when finished.
