This very strong clove-scented basil is a must for curry and Thai dishes. Siam Queen has beautiful flowers and is very tasty! Plants grow up to 22 inches tall. 60-90 days. (Tender perennial grown as an annual)
Planting Instructions:
Start seeds indoors in early spring, lightly covering and keeping very warm. Set plants out after all danger of frost is past. May be direct-sown in the garden in long-summer climates. Basil needs rich, well-drained soil, full sun and abundant moisture to thrive. Plants revel in hot weather.
Harvest leaves anytime during the season, but flavor will be at its peak when the flowers first begin to bloom. Removing the flower heads may prolong the harvest.
