  • Bugs in Potting Soil

    Created by max on

I recently purchased a bag of organic potting soil, which I believe contains large quantities of hypoapsis miles. I am using the soil indoors. After identifying these creepy crawlers and finding out they are actually beneficial, I was somewhat relieved. However, they crawl around the outside of my containers as the soil dries as well as on the top soil and they have spread to all of my pots. I would like to eliminate these “pests” but I cannot find any info. on how to do so. I only find info. on using them to control other pest populations. Neem hasn’t eradicated them. I was thinking of trying spinosad next. Thank you for you time and any help you can provide.
