I have beehives so need to use something safe for them. I have 7 spruce trees about 20 feet tall that I need to spray late may/early june for Spruce budworm (hopefully our late snows helped, too). I am considering using the BT-k. Will that work? Better choice? And how much do I need to order to cover the trees well? Thanks so much!

Yes, Bt-K will work on Spruce Budworms (mix 2 oz per 3 gallons of water). Apply thoroughly to trees when pests are actively feeding every 3-7 days.

We also have a page on Spruce Budworm Control that can be found here:

    Hope it helps!
