    I mixed the garden spay at 2 teaspoons per 16 oz water solution. Put the solution into my Ortho dial n spray hose sprayer. Set dial on 2 oz per gallon. Sprayed Alberta spruce trees for mites this spring. Is this solution effective for killing mites going through my hose sprayer?

    It sounds like you may be diluting the product twice? I would suggest using solely Take Down Garden Spray in the solution reservoir. I would keep your dial set at the 2oz per gallon to achieve the recommended two percent solution ratio. Here’s a link to their product label and instructions.
