  • Using Smart Pots inside terra cotta pots

Would it be okay to put the smart pots with handles inside of another pot? I’d love to place them in terra cotta pots. Do you sell frost proof terra cotta pots? I’m getting spring fever.

I don’t see any problem with putting Smart Pots inside terra cotta pots, except that you will be reducing some of the air flow around the fabric pot. Smart Pots are soft-sided fabric containers that release heat and keep roots cool during hot weather. Also, the breathable material helps air-prune the plant’s root structure, which stops roots from circling. Better roots = better plants!
