Thank you for telling me that it is OK to apply to my free range chicken area, but I am also wondering why the packet warns against spreading on food crops? The hoppers are eating my peas and arugula, and I would love to apply it there. What is the danger?

    Tawnya –

As I mentioned Semaspore is specific to grasshoppers… it will not harm anything else! You can thank the EPA for the scary information on the label, which includes their minimum label requirements for a microbial pesticide.

Thank you for your replies. I understand about the minimum requirement thing. Nice scare tactics. I am looking forward to some sick hoppers.
