    When is the best time to release beneficial insects into my garden for leafhopper and thrips control?

    Hi Marie –

    The best time to release beneficial insects in your garden is while pest levels are still low, but some are present — they will need a food source around to dine on. If pest populations are high, we recommend knocking them down with a least-toxic, short-lived natural pesticide — Insecticidal Soap, Horticultural Oil, Botanical Insecticide — to establish control before releasing beneficial insects to maintain control.
