I really want to start vermicomposting but this is the wrong time of year. I am wondering if red wigglers would survive in the mail. I live in VT, we are just now getting down to freezing temperatures at night. Do you ship them to VT this late?

    Thank you!

Now is the perfect time to start a vermicompost bin — just keep it from freezing! This is also a good time for shipping worms (they do not do well in heat). Here’s the link.

    Hope it helps!
