  • Potting Soil for Meyer Lemon Tree

    Created by Anne Willis on

Can you advise which of the many potting soils you carry would best be suitable for a potted Meyer lemon tree?

Thank you for your quick reply.

    Hi Anne –

For our retail plants we use one big bag of Roots Organic Potting Soil mixed with one bag of Black Gold Washed Sand. We then added cedar chips to a level that amounts to about 1/3rd of the total growing media (about 18 qts total).

    • 38qts Roots Organics Potting Soil
    • 2qts Washed Sand
    • 15-20qts Cedar Chips.

Cedar chips may be found at your local mulch or landscape store. Find the other products here!

    Hope this helps!
