Morning Glories
We purchased Morning Glory plants in May (Long Island NY) and had a trestle built to accommodate the vines. We planted the plans in planters. As Time went by the bottom third portion had no green leaves. Could it be that we didn’t use big enough planters. In the past we tried to plant in the ground but moles ate through. Please let us know if we should try much deeper planters to allow the roots room. At this point in October 2019 we see just one a day…..so we want to do the right thing for next year. We do not fertilize the soil….we do spray with neem oil as needed. Thank you for your help.
