I am wanting to turn my office into a full blown grow room – I love my tropical plants and I am tired of buying them year after year to see them all die. Can you tell me what I will need for lighting? Almost 0ย winter light… but I have water and other systems going great and even have humidity going awesome in here. Please advise!

    Hello Mitch,

Growing tropical plants in Montana can be tough! In a small office your best option would be a T5 (Tubular โ…โ€) lighting system. These systems are immensely efficient, producing almost 100 lumens per watt while limiting heat production (which is just wasted energy). This means that you can put your more light demanding plants very close to the source, without worrying about burn. T5 bulbs are also long lasting, having a 10,000 hour life and come in vegetative and blooming spectrums.

    Good luck!
