  • Ivermectin in Manure

    How does traces of ivermectin in manure affect the biology of the compost pile? I understand it is water soluble. Is there a half-life to ivermectin and other vermifuge medications? I have been having difficulty getting my compost pile(consisting of green, brown and high nitrogen(manure) to come up to temperature. Would the ivermectin be the culprit? Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
