  • Keeping cats out of indoor plants

    Created by Linda Danell on

I have 3 house plants that I keep outside in the summer. I need to bring them into my home now that it is getting colder. I also have cats. Cats love to dig and pee pee in the plants. Do you know of something that can be put around that top of the planter, where I can still water them, but that cats cant use them as a cat box??? Thanks so much for you help.

    Dear Linda,

We sell cat repellent that you can sprinkle on your plants that can help with this issue. You may also want to consider a rough mulch to put on top and I have also heard that citrus oil or orange peel is unpleasant from them to dig in.

    Hope this helps!
