  • Black spots on aloe vera

    Created by Bertha Reinier on

I have an aloe vera plant that I bought at Walmart and it is starting to have black spots. Is there something that I can do? Thanks for your help.

    Hey Bertha!

I would recommend switching up your watering regime a little bit, watering once every week and a half to two weeks should be more than enough for your aloe plant. Make sure the soil is drying out thoroughly between waterings by sticking your pointer finger into the soil up until the second knuckle. Avoid watering if any moisture is present or can be felt on your finger. To treat the fungus I would recommend GreenCure or a Sulfer based fungicide. Both of which can be found here!

Good luck and hope this helps!
