  • Fertilizer for potted herbs

    Created by Maria on

I am growing herbs in small pots outdoors. What kind of fertilizer from Planet Natural is suited for planting them? I have already purchased their fish fertilizer for upkeep after planting. Or is the fish fertilizer enough? Thank you very much.

    Hello Maria,

Your fish fertilizer will work just fine for most annual herbs. However, if you are growing perennials like lavender or rosemary you may need to supplement the soil. I would recommend Dr. Earth’s Tomato, Vegetable and Herb Fertilizer, which is a balanced fertilizer with additional micronutrients that tend to be depleted in perennial soils.

    Best of luck!
