I planted garlic the end of September and since we have had such a mild October most all of them came up already, some 4-6″. Will they come up again in the Spring or should I plant more? I covered the bed with dried aspen leaves to help deter growth….is that OK?

    Christine –

Garlic is very hardy and will survive once cold weather arrives. You did good by mulching heavily. I’ve include our article on growing great garlic.
