Alas, I find small grub worms in my garden when turning for new planting. Today I dug a little deeper and found some HUGE ones. I did remove them sent them to the compost bin to work! How do I rid my garden of these pest. I have some Monterey BT and use that to control Hornworms. Will it work for the grubs as well?

    Hi Cassie –

Monterey BT unfortunately will not work for the grubs. BT must be consumed by the critters in order to be an effective means of control. Utilizing lawn aerator sandals and an Azadirachtin based insecticide should do the trick. Find both here!

What kind of grubs do you think they are? Cutworm? Japanese Beetle?
