The best growing houseplant I ever had was ‘fertilized’ by dead fish from my fresh water aquarium.Drawback were the flies….a LOT of them(yes I had a lot of dead fish from the pet shop), Now I want to plant flowers and shrubs outside – but do not have a source of dead fish, is fish meal the same thing?
If it is, what i plan to do in put a handful in each hole for the plants to use. Will that work? If not, what would the best fertilizer for them?
