  • What to do during the winter months?

    Created by Michelle Gillick on

I am new at composting, but am interested. I recycle as much as possible, right down to thread! I purchased a tin for my countertop, but haven’t decided what I will do in the yard. What is ‘kitchen composting? I cook and garden a good bit, so I tend to have lots of vegetable scraps and garden debris. Given that it’s Fall, what kind of composting can I do during the winter? Is it appropriate to offer to add to my neighbor’s bin? Thank you for considering my questions.
