HYDROHUT COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
 Construction:
Grow Tent: Made from thick black canvass with a thermally adhered layer of thick white plastic on the inside. The fabric/plastic combination is light-tight and water-proof. The zippers used are of the highest quality with oversized teeth for solid gripping. The tent comes with a double floor to protect against flood. The floor seams are all adhered together using heat to make a water-tight joint.
Structure: Made from 16mm steel tube with steel rod corner stabilization bars, steel rod ceiling grid, steel fan brackets, and plastic tube connectors. The exhaust fan and charcoal filter bracket are constructed of steel rod with adjustable nylon straps to fasten-in the filter and fan.
Duct flanges are made from thick formed sheet metal and painted on all sides. They attach to a matching fastener ring using screws. Fastener ring and flange come together.
Duct flanges on HydroHut are 4 inches in diameter. Duct flanges on HydroHut Deluxe are 6 inches in diameter. Two flanges per tent to match the two vents per tent, one intake and one exhaust.

We thermally seal every floor joint on both floors to help insure that you will never have a leak. We realize that your floor is important.
Why is the HydroHut better than the competition?
We at HydroHut know that there are other models out there. There is a big difference between ours and theirs. Firstly, the HydroHut original is larger than the competitions largest unit. We know growers and what they want. The HydroHut will easily hold a 4x4 system and allow you to grow properly with a ceiling height of 7 feet. The competition's model is too small and you cannot fit a 4x4 system into their tent. In addition, their unit is very short. The HydroHut accommodates a taller head height which allows you more room for your plants and your light.
The HydroHut Deluxe 4' x 8' model will easily take a 4x8 system and gives you the same 7 foot head height as its little brother. The competition, based in Europe, is making units for little European apartments that hold 400 watt lights. We have listened to our clients and you have told us that a bigger HydroHut is what you want. You want to use 600 & 1000 watt lights which require more ventilation in the grow area. With the HydroHuts, that is exactly what you have.
The Euro version has an exhaust sock that is rather difficult to keep attached to a fan or filter housing and it is only meant for exhaust.
They have provided you no way to force cool air or A/C into the unit, while also being able to force air out when desired. The HydroHuts come standard with real metal duct flanges, no soft sock that simply wasn't made with the gardener in mind. Each HydroHut Deluxe comes with 2 metal duct flanges, one for intake air and one for exhaust. The HydroHut Original comes standard with one duct flange. Optional dual flanges are available. We know that overheating is a big problem and proper cooling isn't just desirable, it is a must! A convection of air will move across the HydroHut starting from low down, up through the plant canopy, past the light and then up into the exhaust system. The competition offers a passive way to do this. This means you pump air out and hope it comes in, i.e. you watch while your grow room overheats and your plants suffer in a high heat/ poorly ventilated situation.
The HydroHut team has studied the competition and it is our goal to help insure that our clients won't incur a bad growing situation through inferior design and workmanship. If the model you are looking at doesn't have what is listed below, it is not the world's best indoor grow room.
