![]() Step 1: Remove Fresca Sol from the box Step 2: Remove socket bracket with a Phillips screw driver and set aside. Note: For vertical installation skip to Step 4. |
![]() Step 3: Hang light. Make sure Fresca Sol is slanted slightly (3-4 degrees) lower on the socket side to allow for drainage in case of O Ring failure. This allows you to detect any leaks before water touches the bulb. |
![]() Step 4: (Vertical Installation Only) Fresca Sol should hang with the socket side up. Note: The bottom of the unit has a safety drain, which is built for 1/4" hose. Draining hose should be directed away from other vertical lights. |
![]() Step 5: (Vertical Installation Only) Fill with water from bottom up, so the return/ exit hose (socket side has the return hose) is at the top to help remove air from the housing. Step 6: Plumb your system together. |
![]() Step 7: Place hose clamps on all 1/4" soft piping ends. Note: Glue all PVC joints (if that is your application) |
![]() Step 8: Place hose with clamps over all fittings. Tighten all hose clamps with screw driver. This will help prevent leaks. |
| Step 9: Proceed to check your entire system. Be sure to check that all joints are secure, especially to and from the pump. If using PVC, allow glue to dry sufficiently. |
| Step 10: Run water through Fresca Sol and allow for circulation. Check for any leaks due to plumbing. Note: Do not insert bulb or light fixture yet. |
| Step 11: If after an hour or so of running your Fresca Sol through circulation, and your system is running correctly, proceed to next step. Note: Having a correctly plumbed system is critical before inserting bulb. |
| Step 12: Fit the socket bracket onto socket. |
![]() Step 13: Screw in both sides of the socket bracket to the socket. |
![]() Step 14: Screw bulb into fixture. |
![]() Step 15: Get a screwdriver and make sure socket bracket is positioned correctly so water inlet fittings line up with half moon notch. |
![]() Step 16: Screw the right side of the socket bracket to Fresca Sol. |
| Step 17: Screw the other side of the socket bracket to the Fresca Sol. |
| Step 18: Before plugging in ballast, test the system again to assure there are no leaks. Once satisfied, turn water off, and plug in the ballast. |
| Step 19: Allow the system to run fully functional, everything operating, for several hours. Inspect periodically. |
| Step 20: Once you are satisfied that your system is running properly, you may begin using your room. |
![]() Step 21: Once you are satisfied that your system is running properly, you may begin using the room. |
