Aphid parasites are supplied as mummies mixed with sawdust in 250 cc shaker bottles. These shaker bottles enable fast and even distribution of the mummies throughout the entire glasshouse. Pour the material in small quantities onto the leaf. The material should remain there for a few days, so that the parasitic wasps are given the chance to emerge and establish themselves in the crop.
After the introduction, aphid parasites will emerge from the mummies within a few days. The parasitic wasps will take up their task immediately. After approximately two weeks the first mummies can be observed in the crop.
Aphid parasites should be released when aphids are first observed. 500 parasites treat 1800-3600 sq. ft. depending on pest levels. Repeat weekly for 2-3 weeks.
