Dog and Cat Control
Description: Dogs and cats can cause considerable damage. Homeowners often find themselves dealing with neighborhood pets digging, urinating and defecating in their lawns, gardens and landscaped areas. Nuisance animals can wreak havoc on garbage containers and may also be harmful to livestock, poultry, and wildlife. Cats are extremely effective hunters and can seriously deplete natural populations of song birds.
Control: The most effective control for a pet dog and cat is the sharply spoken word backed up with disciplinary action. For most effective results, use the following suggestions in conjunction with training.
Fencing - Placing a fence around your gardens, landscaping and flowers may prevent entry. Dogs will often respect the boundary of a fence. However, cats can jump so you may want to make sure that the fence is high enough to prevent entry.
Scare Devices - Motion sensor devices that spray water are often used to repel animals. The Scarecrow Motion Activated Sprinkler catches marauding nuisance animals off guard and scares them away!
Clean Up - Stray animals are frequently attracted to areas where urine or feces have been deposited. Remove droppings when they are first noticed.
Commercial Repellents - Repellents are a cruelty-free way of keeping animals away from your yard and garden. The all natural repellents we offer are safe to you and the environment and deter nuisance animals by smell and/or taste.
