Baker Creek Heirloom SeedsThese oblong, bright red onions are great for planting spring or fall. Seems to do well in many areas. They are very mild and sweet, great for salads and pickling! A delicious Italian heirloom onion. Very rare. Long-day type.

Planting Instructions:
Start seeds indoors 10 to 12 weeks before the last frost date of spring. Surface-sow or barely cover the seeds. Keep seed trays at room temperature and do not allow to dry out. Transplant seedlings after last frost date, spacing them 4 to 6 inches apart.
