Planting Instructions:
One of the hardiest vegetables, heirloom spinach is grown as a spring or autumn crop, but quickly goes to seed during long, hot summer days. Sow in spring several weeks before last frost date; In autumn, sow right up to first frost.

The seed is planted up to 1/2-inch deep and spaced 3 to 6 inches between plants. Spinach requires rich, moist soil to thrive and should be harvested often to keep the plants producing.
