The C.A.P. HID Lighting Controller will protect your lamps from hot starts. A "hot start" occurs whenever a light is turned off and then back on before it is allowed to cool.

Hot starts are usually caused by power outages and they reduce your lamp's life and intensity.

The HLC-2e will not allow the light to restart until 15 minutes after the power is restored - prevents bulb damage and increases bulb life.

Rated for 15 amps @ 120 volts. Includes a 5-year manufacturer's no hassle warranty. Made in the USA.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Step 1: Plug the HLC-2e into your lighting timer.

Step 2: Plug your ballast or Master Lighting Controller into the outlet.

Step 3: The power light (green) should be on at all times while it is receiving power. The red "Delay On" light will be solid for 15 minutes after powering on your light timer.
