GroChek pH Meter

Housed in a round splash proof case, the pH GroChek was originally designed for the greenhouse and hydroponics industry where the need for a low cost continuous indicator was established. However, this meter has proved popular with anyone who wants to have a constant readout of pH and is widely used in aquariums and fish ponds, swimming pools and the dairy industry.

Supplied complete with a double junction electrode on a 2m cable, the meter incorporates a moulded hook to allow it to be easily positioned on a wall. pH is displayed on the protected LCD display and the meter only requires a 12 volt power supply using a (included in the price) mains power to 12 volt transformer. Alternatively it can be powered by a 12 volt car battery or similar.

Because the electrode is often positioned in plastic tanks, an earthing pin is also included which is placed in the tank along with the electrode. This prevents and potential grounding and guarantees accurate pH readings.
