Greensand (10 lb)

All natural potash. Espoma® Greensand (0-0-0.1) is a soil conditioner and potash source of the highest quality. Mined from natural deposits of glauconite, it is composed primarily of iron-potassium silicate, which gives it a bluish-green color. Supplies potassium, an essential nutrient that promotes overall plant hardiness and disease resistance, along with iron, magnesium, silica and as many as 30 other trace minerals. Other valuable properties are its ability to loosen clay soils, bind sandy soils and increase the water-holding capacity of all soils. Ideal for organic gardening.

Directions for Use:
Broadcast or spread evenly over the entire area. It is recommended that this fertilizer/ amendment be worked into the soil before seeding or planting. For applications during the growing season use the light recommended rates below.

Light Application: 5 to 10 lbs. per 100 sq. ft.
Medium Application: 15 to 30 lbs. per 100 sq. ft.
Heavy Application: 40 to 80 lbs. per 100 sq. ft.
