Baker Creek Heirloom SeedsAn old-time pea introduced in 1908. High-yielding and tasty, this Garden Pea does better than most in warm weather. The tightly-filled pods are easy to shell and compact vines are a good choice for small gardens.

Planting Instructions:
All peas require mild weather to grow their best. May be sown in the spring, 1/2 to 1 inch deep and several inches apart in all directions, several weeks before the last frost date of spring. Most varieties require support, such as a trellis, net, fence, etc.

Try to time the planting so the crop matures before the arrival of really hot weather. For fall planting, sow the seeds in late summer two months before first frost date of autumn.
